In the Social-Catholic Institute, Bad Honnef (near Bonn), Germany
The goal of the conference is to gain an overview of the complementary currencies that already exist, to discuss their meaning for future local and regional economic development and to clarify their role in the overall economy and the social security networks. In doing this, we shall naturally also refer to experience that has been gained in other continents with complementary currencies. In this conference we would like to provide a creative forum for discussion, creation of networks and encourage the concrete exchange of experiences between people and organisations.
We expect:

- € Representatives of umbrella organisations and associations: New Economic Foundation (UK), MonNetA (Money Network Alliance, Germany), ACCESS ( Alliance of Complementary Currencies Enabling Sustainable Societies, USA), Regionetzwerk (Network of Regional Currency Initiatives, Germany), Social Money Workshop and others.
